Is 2026 really "Time can be measured in many ways; clocks, sundials, hourglasses, hair, fingernails, notches in doorframes, heartbeats. At the Iris, we think of time in terms of trends, and our favourite trend right now is “2026 is so 2016” When we think 2026 we think prime 2010’s SWAG era. We think skinny jeans, fidget spinners and Soundcloud rappers. We also think time is cyclical. 2026 is 2016 is 2006. At the Iris, trends mark the passing of time better than any calendar. With the resurgence of flip phones, and wired headphones, we remember the chaotic days of the early internet. We remember all the boybands and the talking muffins.2016 IS 2026 in more ways than one can imagine.
